"Novella and Bob were wonderful hosts and very thoughtful which helped us settle us very quickly. As this was winter time we appreciated the fire already alight and even the electric blanket was on. Little extras in the fridge for us to enjoy we appreciated. Bed we found very comfortable. We will not hesitate to tell others of this special place and we will go again."

We wanted find a space that was seclusive with scenery to explore and do activities whilst also have time to relax by the fire. "We needed an overnight stop on a long transit trip and this location not only was a great overnight stay but a great experience. A fully equipped kitchen and BBQ and we had a lovely evening BBQ while our mini retriever played in the fully enclosed yard. A great stay!"

The weather was great for swimming in the pool (waist deep and unheated but warm enough), there were ample kitchen and glassware, comfy beds and the highlight was the fire pit which we used nightly. The playground was a bit tired, and you have to bring bottled water beyond 10L provided, but the house was still brilliant for kids and adults, and we’d happily stay again."
