Snettisham has a huge amount of individual character and offers the opportunity to undertake a unique deer safari. It also has a lovely natural and unspoilt beach offering open sea views and glorious sunsets. Wells-next-the-Sea, with its picturesque quay, narrow gauge railway and mix of traditional and artisan shops, is well worth a visit. Birdwatchers will be spoilt for choice with Snettisham, Titchwell and Holkham within easy reach, and Blakeney, Cley and Welney just a little further afield. The Hanseatic town of Kings Lynn is also worth visiting and there are guided walking tours available around the old quarter. The coastline offers bracing and picturesque walks and the area also offers some good cycling routes and is home to lots of National Trust properties and Stately Homes, including The Sandringham Estate and Holkham Hall. When it comes to deciding what to visit next, relaxing Trentham Cottage provides the perfect environment to unwind and plan your next adventure, perhaps while enjoying dinner al fresco in the private, patio garden. Very comfortable cottage.
Very comfortable cottage. There is everything you need and more that you didn’t know you needed. Clean welcoming and the added extras were lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable. The parking is a bit tight especially when you get there after dark. Walking distance to shops restaurant’s and other amenities. Not far to drive to beautiful beaches.

It’s a beautiful and extremely well equipped little cottage and we couldn’t have asked for more. The welcome gifts were well appreciated and the phone call prior to our arrival was lovely. All in all perfect other than one tiny niggle , having to strip the beds before leaving and pack up everything to be out by 10am . That wasn’t easy but we are elderly so energy isn’t something we have in abundance.
A great property to explore Norfolk from. It has everything you need. 10/10 from us.

Amazing cottage.
Amazing cottage. Great facilities. We were so impressed by all the little attention to detail. I haven’t slept that well in a long time (but that might have had something to do with the long beach walks).

Lovely cottage - loads of space for the four of us (two adults and two children) centrally located in a really pretty village just around the corner from a decent local supermarket.
Great base to explore the coast and countryside. We went to Wells Next the Sea, Hunstanton and Cromer and we also enjoyed some long walks straight from the cottage. We also went to the RSPB reserve which was lovely.
We've been on plenty of cottage holidays over the years but I don't think I've ever been to one as well equipped as this one - more like a real home than a holiday home.
The boxes of maps and walks were a fabulous touch - lucky too as we'd left our OS map at home.
Lovely pub round the corner too. All in all a lovely week away.

Trentham Cottage is spacious, comfortable and well equiped.
Trentham Cottage is spacious, comfortable and well equiped. There was ample room for our party of six. A local shop is a short walk away, as is the excellent Rose and Crown pub. There are plenty of walks and beaches nearby, but do allow plenty of time as main roads can be busy and side roads slow.

Lovely cottage.
Lovely cottage. Very well equipped. Only gripe - beds and pillows too hard, but that's personal taste.
Nicely decorated for Xmas and Xmas treats. Parking in courtyard bit of an issue if you haven't got
a small car. Beware dustbin day - noise of bins being dragged past property over cobbles horrendous!
