Full oil fired central heating, double glazing. 2 double bedrooms upstairs and lounge /diner and fully fitted modern kitchen downstairs. Small courtyard garden and driveway. Many leisure facilities within walking distance (Pubs, restaurants, fishing lake, walks, cycling) as well as local village shop (open 7 days per week). Kitchen was well equipped for meals. Great having an induction hob 10/10 Parking suitable for 1 car. Boys enjoyed the smart tv too. Shower was very good A lovely little cottage to spend a few days , felt very safe and cosy.

This is a WONDERFUL cottage in the beautiful village of Docking, close to everywhere you'd want to be in Norfolk.From the friendly and helpful communication from the owner before we arrived, through to the easy checkout process, everything was perfect for our family-of-four stay.The cottage was exceptionally clean and had all that you would need and more for your holiday. A well-stocked kitchen with good appliances, a comfy living room, two good sized bedrooms with quality bedding and a spotless bathroom with an excellent shower.It's great to have your own parking space on the property, and there's even a small outdoor space at the front next to this to enjoy reading a book or watch the friendly robins and sparrows!As for the location, you're surrounded by beautiful countryside, and an impossible number of places to visit. An early morning walk will see you surrounded by Norfolk hares, deer and pheasants and a quick drive will take you to some of the best beaches in the UK.For a family, couple or solo traveller - Hollyhocks cottage is a perfect choice for a lovely trip. I'd wholeheartedly recommend this clean, quiet, safe and well-cared for property - and the owner clearly takes every effort to ensure your stay is excellent.

Well. We have just returned home after one of the best holidays ever in such a beautiful cottage in a beautiful village of Docking. Everything that we needed was available in the cottage, down a little sleepy road where all you could hear was the birds singing and a hare would often run pass on an evening. A faultless property and we can't wait to return in the near future.

Excellent property

I have really enjoyed staying in this property. It was immaculately clean and so comfortable. I normally find different beds uncomfortable but that couldn’t be further from the truth staying here.

Comfortable, cosy cottage, well equipped

We had a great week at Hollyhocks cottage. Good location for birdwatching at Titchwell marshes, visiting Sandringham and King's Lynn. Cottage had all we needed, owners were helpful and responded quickly to emails. We would recommend it.

A small bathroom towel would be appreciated - on arriving at the property after journey you shouldn’t have to root thru your suitcase to find your towel before using the bathroom! Otherwise everything good.

Once again a great stay

We have stayed in this cottage before and it is ideally situated for our Norfolk holidays. The owner is always very helpful and communication is definitely not an issue. The property is clean and the description is as you will find it. We would not hesitate to book again

Perfect location

lovely cottage, looked a bit tired in places. The oil tank in the garden had a strong smell in the heat. It does restrict people from having a bbq in the evening which was a shame.

Cosy and very clean

Wanted a relaxing weeks' holiday and this cottage went a long way towards that. Very impressed with the cleanliness and although nothing did go wrong, there was a full 'back up plan' if it did. The location was very central to all the areas we wanted to visit and only a ten minute drive from several beaches. If we are going to stay in North Norfolk again we would definitely rebook this property.

Extremely cosy cottage and a great base for birdwatching.

This was my third stay at Hollyhocks Cottage - as noted above it is an extremely cosy cottage and again proved a perfect base for me to pursue my interest in birdwatching (It is more or less centrally located for getting quickly to Snettisham, Hunstanton, Holme, Titchwell, Holkham and Cley).
