"Lovely hotel, with a beautiful view of the sea and sunset. As we were staying in exceptional times of heat this weekend, there was only one fan in the room and the windows barely opened. There is air-conditioning being installed but it was not working yet. Breakfast was slow and not very much supply, the items soon ran out, and when we asked for additional croissants, only 3 were brought, for a full dining room, so they went straight away, other items were not replenished on the self-service table, ie milk, fresh fruit. The cooked breakfast was good."

"An amazing find. Hosts excellent and very helpful for things to do in the area.Great for pets as the hosts have a large field we were able to use. Very small patio and patch of grass next to the house but is overlooked by the hosts. Not a big issue but would be nice to be a little more secluded surrounding area is beautiful, lots of places to visit.Wouldn’t hesitate in booking for a second visit."

"A truly memorable stay. The suite was delightful. Would have preferred a separate shower cubicle as well as the bath. The service was excellent and dining was a joy. Would recommend this special hotel to all."

"The cottage was spotless, lovely sheets, linen and towels and plenty of everything. The bathroom looks recently refurbished and was very smart, excellent shower - lots of hot water. The host was very quick to respond with helpful tips and was keen to check that all was in order to ensure we had the perfect stay. Plenty of parking too. Spacious outside area - tables to sit and eat at plus a much larger grassy area to kick a ball around and for children to play. And a very quick walk to the harbour and beach! The Cove and Hope & Anchor are excellent - great food, lovely vibe, friendly people - we had a super holiday. You won't be disappointed!"

"Such well maintained Inn. Glad I booked here and would happily rebook next time I come to this location for work. Despite having a pub downstairs it was very quite and the rooms were well maintained. Only downside was the kitchen has now permanently closed. Which is a shame but we understand the owner's reasons and the local area has other food options you can use."

"Well appointed property, fantastic location and great facilities on-site. Reasonable parking in courtyard a little way from the property. Only slight downside was intermittent broadband, which was only a problem for our group due multiple individuals to trying to work during our stay. Have booked again for next year"

"Lovely cottage in ideal central location. We were away for a couple of days after recovering from hip replacement surgery when my husband had been so attentive. The sun shone (most of the time) but it would have been nice to have known how steep the stairs were as I had only just progressed from crutches!!!"

"Lovely place to stay, comfortable room with fresh milk for tea/coffee, super breakfast and very helpful hosts "
