"お盆を過ぎた時期に、金曜日から1泊させてもらいました。鬼のオブジェの真後ろのメタルのいうお部屋でした。チェックイン、チェックアウトは備え付けのタブレットから。少しアワアワしましたが、割とすんなりできました笑お部屋はとても、清潔でスタイリッシュ‼️ テンション爆上がりでした。ただ、強いて言えば、お部屋に入った時、1階は涼しかったのですが、2階が異常に暑く、クーラーを付けてもなかなか冷えず、クーラーを入れていてもらえたら嬉しかったということと、鬼のオブジェは夜も煌々と電気がついていて、（障子窓を開けるとすぐ鬼のオブジェの裏側)夜もずっと明るく、カーテンなどがあれば嬉しかったです。それ以外はほんと素敵なお部屋でした！ありがとうございました！"

"今回２回目の滞在でした。前回近くに用事がありたまたま見つけたお宿でしたが、絶対また来たいと思うぐらい気に入って、今回は特に用事もなく観光目的でもなくゆっくり滞在したくてリピートしました。タイムスリップしたような昔話に出てくるような昔の建物ですが、立派で、清潔感もあり、各部屋に庵主（管理人さん）の心遣いが感じられ、毎回到着時にあたたかくお出迎えしてくださり、今回は桃や葡萄や和菓子、冷たいおしぼりやお茶までご用意してくださってました。至る所に生花が飾れセンス良くお掃除もとても行き届いていて気持ちよく、お風呂が特に最高です。穴場としてあまり知られたくないぐらいです。またリピートします！"

"Great host and communication. The house is cozy and it had everything we needed. The air conditioning was great in the Japanese heatwave. In just under 10 minutes, you can walk to some of the nicest streets in Kyoto with temples and cafes. However, everything around there closes quite early and becomes really quiet - so be aware if it’s not your vibe. Not a big deal for me, though. "I highly recommend staying here over a standard hotel room. The owners do not speak English (which is perfectly fine, but I know some people are shocked when Japanese locals only speak Japanese lol). What I loved most is how convenient the location is. "We stayed in Tokyo and Osaka prior to our stay here in Kyoto at Maeniiya Machiya Inn. Maeniiya Machiya Inn is a definite great place to stay and close to everything. Akemi (property owner) is a wealth of knowledge and gave a lot of tips and recommendations. Be sure to visit Sukemasa for dinner if you like Gyoza. It is very close and yummy for 1000yen!
