Clean modern rooms Downside above a pub , although no interference from the pub 1st impression concerned 2nd impression nice rooms welcoming hosts good utilities in n the room Overall r satisfied

Staff were very friendly and helpful. I liked the hotel’s old character and nice views over the gardens and countryside. 10 out of 10.

The decor was unusual and interesting. The food was excellent. Having a garden to sit in and have drinks and food outside was also good. Staff were very polite and helpful. Definitely go back and stay.

This was a very welcoming and friendly stay ALL the staff were very nice and helpful . The downside was the food I’m afraid. Looong waits to order ,I ate my steak very very ,well done to be polite only because I was hungry . I ordered rare !! NearlyScorched would be best description.. 1st morning breakfast ok , second two below par : rock hard black pudding ,sausages one rasher cold bacon shrivelled tomato etc

My bedroom was clean and comfortable, with an incredibly comfortable bed. However, the bathroom was poorly maintained and in need of renovation. The black grouting and stained bathtub made it an unpleasant space.
