"A great one night stay on my way up to Scotland. Fabulous hospitality and made to feel very welcome. Had a peaceful night's sleep. Janice cooks a mean omelette for breakfast and enjoyed my packed lunch. Lovely estuary walking and lots of nature reserves in the area. Would stay again if in the area."
"The bed was very comfortable and despite the head I slept really well both nights.
Location is excellent within easy walking distance of town centre.
Breakfast was first class both days and set me up perfectly on both days."

There was only one towel in the bathroom, so my husband and I had to share as when we realized it was too late to request...
"Didn't have a very good experience at the Golf Hotel & was really disappointed for the money paid.
Was given a twin room instead of a deluxe double room (which i'd paid more for). Had arranged for an early check-in with hotel for an extra £20 but this had been forgotten about. Tried to make conversation with the member of staff checking me in but got nothing back. Room had a lovely view of the green but curtains were hanging off rail. The bathroom had an awful smell to it & toilet didn't flush...
