"Lagun Blou Resort was the perfect location for our family. The staff was incredibly helpful. They got our unit ready early for us and even drove us to the grocery store. That being said, strongly suggest you rent a car if staying here. Then you will be about to get around to the various beaches nearby and go to the grocery store since none are walking distance."

"We loved everything about our stay. Our accommodations were so cozy and the outdoor spaces were exactly what one could hope for: spectacular sunsets, comfy places to relax and access to the water! Lisa was so kind and informative. She had excellent recommendations (like attending a local Holiday Market featuring local artisans). It was great to be able to walk to local beaches and restaurants. The western side of the island is our absolute favorite part of Curacao and Lagun is the best location because of its proximity to beaches, restaurants, nature, and a good grocery store (New California is 15 mins away). We can’t wait to come back!"

"Perfect seaside escape – already dreaming of coming back!We had an amazing stay at this property. The house is perfectly located in a quiet area, and the peace and calm were exactly what we were looking for. The highlight for us was the sunset view every evening – absolutely stunning and different every night. Having private access to the sea felt like such a luxury; being able to just wander down for a swim or to sit by the water made the stay feel truly special.Lisa was a fantastic host from start to finish – warm, welcoming, and extremely responsive to all our messages. Communication was easy and reassuring, and you can tell she really cares about her guests’ experience.We would happily give this place 5/5 and would not hesitate to come back or recommend it to friends and family. "The trip was for family & close friends to spend most of time snorkeling. House was great location being so very close to the best beaches. We had 3 vehicles so we were able to go to different ones in various groups. Snorkeling at the house was very fun but not a variety of fish. We hesitated going out & regretted we didn’t do sooner as it was quite fun. One in our group did snorkel to Playa Jeremi & back - a hard trek. Driving the island was not an issue & easy to get around- a vehicle is a must. There are many restaurants with 5-15 mins of house. We did find that, not being tourist season, some of the “chefs” were on vacation & restaurants closed or on a very, very limited menu. So many good beaches for snorkeling close by house. Arrive early (before 9:30) to get chairs which will run 8-10 per chair. The house was comfortable though once you leave your air conditioned bedroom the rest of house was pretty warm. We experienced some mosquitos so really didn’t leave big sliding doors open much. We ate out most of time, but did fix breakfast. We used the New California grocery store 20 mins south of house to get most of what we needed in food during trip. Local manager, Tirso, was very responsive & took actions to resolve some electrical & lighting issues. The trip & house were very enjoyable & if you want to spend time at nice beaches & not crowded. This is a great location. "

"Thanks so much to Joel/Lisa for sharing their exceptional rental property. Additionally, they were both incredibly helpful, offering super suggestions which greatly enhanced our first visit to and experience in Curacao. We especially enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying the super ocean and sunset views. We found the house to be very comfortable and well-equipped. Enjoyed the plunge pool and easy access to snorkeling down the stairs/ladder. There were many nearby highlights/activities but to name a few of our favorites: beaches (get there by 9:00 am for best beach chairs locations), Kleine Knip, Grote Knip, Cas Abao); restaurants, Cactus Cafe, Shelterrock Paradise (on Friday, they have grilled/stuffed coconuts, and karaoke....fun, local experience/reservations recommended). Also, found D&D car rentals to be efficient, local, and cost-efficient option compared to typical, larger chains.. Again, thanks so much to our super hosts Joel/Lisa for sharing both their lovely rental property and local insights....which resulted in a very memorable, fun stay!"
