"This is one of those places that actually do look like the pictures, to be honest pictures don't even do it justice. It blew my mind with the stunning view! There is tons of creatures to see iguanas, lizards, birds, and plenty in the water with great snorkeling or diving right down the front steps. If you are looking for diving lessons they have a world class instructor right on site who is amazing. Or if you just want to relax you can lay out on your balcony or take a quick swim or short walk down to the beach. All the staff is wonderful, super helpful, friendly and will give you recommendations to their favorite beaches or restaurants no problem and assist you with anything you may need. The only bad part is having to leave!"

"We had a fantastic 9 day stay! We like to scuba dive, and the locations nearby are great (snorkeling great too)! Joel was easy to communicate with - a great host! During down time, just hanging around the back yard with the ocean right there was amazing! Great sunsets and stargazing! We went on some great hikes in the immediate area as well… We highly recommend this property!"

"I will preface this to say Lisa and Joel were nice and quick to respond to any questions and requests. The rental itself left a lot to be desired. First, the steps and path down to the water are a death trap that we would not venture on. The furniture is sparse, and quite uncomfortable. There were no hand towels or kitchen towels provided. Lisa brought one sad hand towel after we requested it. The kitchen has no hot water, which makes washing any dishes and pans difficult, if not unsafe. We love Curacao, and have visited several times, but we would not return here. "

"We had a second floor unit with an outdoor kitchen. It was a unique experience. It had basic cooking equipment and a gas cooktop and large fridge. It looked over the pool. It was clean. It was a very quiet property. The bbq’s were not in good shape. The pool was clean and very nice with good lounges and shade. You can walk to 3 restaurants, one being on the property. You can walk to beaches with great snorkeling. The staff were helpful. We had issues with the rental car we rented from here though. We wer not notified about a $500 u.s. deposit and if they put it on the credit card they charged 4%. They had to charge and refund and recharge after 7 days which made no sense therefore we were getting hit with extra charges for a deposit. Last minute told to take the car to the unit to get refunded. We were supposed to take it to the airport. They did provide a driver but we were going to make stops on the way. We’re not able to do that. We used all our u.s. cash. The staff were good. We would stay again but not rent their car. "

"We had a great stay! The area is beautiful, quiet, and perfect for scuba. The view is excellent, and being able to swim right there was a highlight. The host was responsive, kind, and helpful. AC in the rooms was great for sleeping, and the open air style home was very comfortable.Lagun is great. The beach would be excellent if you like to lay out and relax. There are a few great restaurants nearby, and the convenience store right out front is just that..convenient!One thing to know before booking: there is no hot water. This was not advertised as having hot water, but if you are coming from a colder climate it is something many people will assume exists with a shower. That said, if you shower mid to late afternoon, around 4 pm, the water is often quite warm anyway."

"The place was awesome, beautiful views, nice pool, good safe parking. There is no housekeeping while there which is fine, but would be helpful to have some basic cleaning supplies available like a broom, dish soap, cleaning towels/paper towels. We went and bought some supplies, a little drive but not a big deal. We would definitely stay there again, a little more decoration inside would lively it up a little though. "
