Hotel has small private playground with a trampoline and a swing, exactly what our kid wanted. Friday night had some entertainment so make reservation as dining space is limited. Hotel was a bit pricey but so were all the other hotels in the area. Overall we had a good stay. Hotel is very kid friendly."

The hotel is typical for the region with the added benefit of offering its guests complimentary admission to the Chiemgau Thermen (a regional wellness center with pools, spa & sauna) which we were able to take advantage of. Breakfast was a normal offering and was complete. The staff were very lovely and eager to assist if needed. They have a good functioning restaurant on site if you would like lunch or dinner. "We really liked this hotel. It felt very traditional Bavarian. We wished we could have stayed longer. We arrived late and had an excellent dinner. Unfortunately the kitchen closed at 8pm and we could not get the desert we wanted. And the restaurant was closed the next two days so we could not have another dinner. This is a family run hotel.
