"Check in wasent till 4:30pm.Quite busy when we arrived so had a drink a nice collection of ipa always a good thing.When got a drink told him we was checking in quite quick told us when your ready il show you to your room.To which they did explained everything.The room was everything we needed nice layout comfy bed.Near the train station but couldn’t hear much as trains pulled up.Shame they don’t do breakfast but there’s loads of place to go for something to eat in walking distance.Defo recommend to family and friends and would stay agin."

"Firstly, a real bonus to have parking on site! We arrived early so parked up and went into the attached restaurant, The Fat Badger to make a reservation for an evening meal. The menu looked very inviting and the staff were so friendly in the bar area. Just a querky place with great decor. The toilets were very clean, no complaints at all. Our room was Circus themed, with a four poster bed, which was a lovely surprise. The room was clean and beautifully arranged. The bed was comfy and the bathroom clean and the shower was spot on. The Hotel is really central to everywhere. The evening meal was lovely with the staff being very friendly. We have no complaints at all and would definitely stay here again."

"The place was super easy to find with free parking just over the road. It's so small but super cosy and has everything a couple and their chihuahua could ask for (although we are hook fiends and just love hanging up coats, jackets, bags, towels etc so more of those would be awesome). We enjoyed meeting Knaresborough's friendly locals and found the ice cream parlour, world's end and mitre pubs really nice. Drake's fish and chips was tasty and so was Six Poor Folk. The bus to Harrogate was so easy to use and runs every 10 mins! The walk along the river Nidd was delightful in the sun. Thanks for having us!"

"First the good things. The house was beautifully kept and very clean inside. It was perfect for us to all get together abs had plenty of space. It was a short walk to town so perfectly located for us. The beds were comfortable, and the house warm. There were books and TVs for entertainment if needed. The host was easy to contact and was happy for us to leave our car at the house after check out so we could explore for a bit longer. Outside I’d say only one parking space is usable, I wouldn’t have wanted to try and park on the other one. The outside grounds were marred by the piles of dog poo which were visible from the kitchen window, I would recommend these are cleared up regularly. There were also random tin cans on the lawn. On the subject of the dog, we all were dog lovers but it could have been ofd putting for a large Labrador to run up to a non-dog lover or child. Luckily he was very friendly with us all. Whilst we did have everything we needed, sets of glasses and crockery would have been useful, we felt a bit worried about using the posh ones from the dining room. I also felt a book of instructions would have been helpful for appliances etc., the online guidebook has the incorrect WiFi information. Some of the decor is quirky and some really reminded me of items my parents had. I would have liked an earlier check in and later check out as an option but I could see that the house was very big and cleaned to a high standard. "
