"The beauty, comfort, and quietness of our room were incredible. Everything in the room, from the coffee machine and biscuits to the automatic trouser iron and the comfort of the bathroom, was perfect. But the breakfast was the crowning glory. The hot menu, the cheese plate, the freshly squeezed orange and apple juices, even the orchids in the winter garden and the fragrant carnations on our table were a dream. The lady who welcomed us and provided the service was wonderful and cheerful."

"Due to a family bereavement they were unable to offer breakfast, but we had not booked breakfast anyway. Although we were there in late August the town was incredibly quiet. Most food and drink places were closed for the duration of our 3 night stay, for breakfast or dinner. But McMunns were open on our last night and we got a good dinner there."
