Paradise KohYao

Ko Yao

8/10 Good

The resort is well off the beaten track - accessible down 6km of dirt track, or by boat. Once there, the opportunities to go on boat trips out are great - free 30 minute trip to beach and free 20 minute trip to public pier where scooters or taxis may be hired. Really relaxing place. Great place to wind down, relax in piece and quiet... close to nature to spot hornbills, monitor lizards and other creatures :) breakfast was great, included minibar and happy hour deals helped with dealing with the bill after your stay ;) do not plan to explore too much of the island as the ride to the hotel is a bit of a jungle ride - exciting to explore it once, but more than that could be tricky, tiring and pricy. Check-in service could be a bit more informative about the resort and possible...

This place is child friendly and the beach is one giant sandy plain where toddlers can happily play as there’s barely any tide making it safe and very practical. There is some construction going on beside the hotel, and so long as you’re staying on the other side of the resort the construction sound will not be...
