"Older hotel adjacent (within walking distance) to Kodiak Airport, staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and clean if slightly dated. Breakfast bar was basic but edible. No complaints. Thank you."

"Another beautiful property with views and easy access to float plane launch, stores (Safeway & Walmart), and "downtown" which on Kodiak Island is very quaint House is about one mile from harbor, where there is a minimal, brewery, Nuniaq (breakfast/lunch), Henry's, Aquamarine restaurant (side-by-side), bank, info center, all near harbor and easy walking distance. Property, was roomy, clean, and allowed for parking on or off street. Overall, a very relaxing and enjoyable stay, and the owners were easy to communicate with. Great stay!"

"Such a nice room - well appointed and tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed and a relaxing view of Near Island Channel. The Captain’s Quarters had a dedicated parking space along the road, and a separate entrance that is clearly marked. Easy to find and easy to access (provided that a few stairs are not a limitation). The hosts are responsive to questions sent through the Expedia app, but not invasive or otherwise bothersome. I enjoyed my 3-night stay and would absolutely consider staying there again in the future. "

"Beautiful place to stay! Right on the main channel into Kodiak harbor. The kids watched boats and sea planes for a long time. The house is very nice inside too. Great fluffy carpet. Very clean. We used 5 bedrooms for our 3 generation stay."
