Best Western Kodiak Inn

Best Western Kodiak Inn

10/10 Excellent
"Our room was accessed by going through the lobby and out a door to the outside, it was located near nicely manicured green spaces, a little sitting area across from our room. We were in room 124 I highly recommend it. You can also access a back parking lot from the end past our room . Breakfast was good, and included by voucher, we ate at the restaurant itself the first night and was pleased with the offerings and the quality . The prices were reasonable for Alaska , and Kodiak being an island . The staff was kind and helpful. Because it sits into the side of a hill there is challenges for parking but they have additional parking area, so if when folks are arriving they check with the front desk they'll tell you where that area is. This is also basically in the middle of town so you can walk once you're parked almost everywhere and it's right across from the harbor. Breakfast is looking over the harbor, as well as the same thing you can do for dinner if you choose to eat there this was a great experience and a great place to stay"

"I truly believe this is the best place to stay in Kodiak! The host was very responsive and described the property perfectly! It was close to town and the view of the harbor is amazing! We were able to sit on the balcony and watch the float planes fly in and out of Trident Basin, the boats come and go, and we saw sea lions and seals - while relaxing in bed! The space is more than adequate for two adults to be comfortable. The water pressure and endless hot water in the shower was so relaxing at the end of a long day!Five stars all the way!"

"Loved this cute apartment right on the water! It was the perfect location for being 5 mins from everything… came here for a work trip and it was so nice to enjoy the room all to myself after two chaotic days. This apartment is a downstairs unit, so be aware that you may hear people walking above you at any point in time but overall it was a great experience. I will definitely book again in the future!"
