Explore nearby cultural gems such as the Kopavogur Art Museum and the Natural History Museum of Kopavogur within walking distance, while the Kopavogur Swimming Hall is a mere 3-minute drive away from ICA and Sky Lagoon 10 minutes away.
The neighbourhood is quiet but central.

Getting Around:
Buses run close to the apartment and to the city centre and the company Airport Direct offers a drop-off/pick-up at Hamraborg bus stop, in only 3 minutes walking distance. You can book airport transfer through us.
Taxi can be ordered to this location, but this is a more expensive option.
The property offers free parking, so you can park your rent-a-car in front and be free to travel around on your own car. Please contact us for recommendations on rentals.

Nice apartment

The layout of the apartment is one of its strengths. It is a studio, but a wall separates the kitchen/bath area from the bed area. Parking was convenient, as were grocery stores. It is a fair distance from downtown Reykjavik, and having a car means we didn't have to investigate public transportation availability. The trash bins in the entry way were a bit off-putting, and the lighting, especially in the bathroom, could have done with a few more lumens. But overall it was a welcoming space.

Quick Family Visit

In country for a family wedding. Quiet neighborhood and very clean and comfortable accommodations. Great value and as a frequent visitor, I would highly recommend it.
