Friendly and helpful staff, clean and well proportioned rooms. The restaurant is great, but the menu a little limited, and given the hotel is quite remote, they could do with more options. The views from the hotel and restaurant at sunset are amazing.

We enjoyed our stay, as the staff made it even more seamless for us. Always ready and willing to help with whatever we needed. They had a perfect mix of friendly and professional, especially the manager at the front desk. They didn’t clean our room throughout our stay, though, but overall a pleasant stay nonetheless.

Perfect spot for exploring Montenegro

Such a gorgeous hotel with really lovely staff. We had a room with a kitchenette overlooking the pool which id really recommend. The hotel is halfway between Kotor and Tivat, both of which are so different depending on what you like

The hotel is beautiful and the dining is excellent in a wonderful rooftop setting that captures all the glory of a Montenegrin sunset. The staff can’t do enough for you. The included breakfast was very good and the hotel even provides a free shuttle to the airport. So, great value for money. The only downsides were the music around the pool was very loud if you want to concentrate on a book or listen through your own headphones, and the location as there didn’t seem much else nearby. But if you just want a few days in the sun in a wonderful setting, I’d definitely recommend a stay.

Lovely modern, clean and d contemporary hotel. We had a great spacious family apartment which was very comfortable with a decent size balcony, The pool was fantastic, and has an in incredible view over the bay. The complementary breakfast was also great, with lots of choice in a fantastic setting. The only thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars is the access to the hotel - which is though a rabbit warren of narrow, potholed steep roads - which made leaving the hotel a real stress. I can't see them ever fixing this issue unfortunately

After changing room due to poor cleaning, the stay was great. Helpful and very service-minded staff. New addition to staff - Mia - gave us a wonderful tour of the brand new restaurant which is about to open. Breakfast is now served there instead of by the pool (which was not ideal). The view from this high spot are great and you can watch planes landing and taking off from Tivat. But this also means that the location is a bit too remote if you don't have a car. With a car, its no problem and nice to get away from the town, but still not too far. We never walked it, but could only imagine the hassle it would be. Parking right outside the hotel. When arriving, it is not the first Royal Blue complex you see, continue up the steep hill and there will be signs to the hotel and restaurant.

OK but not set up for families

We booked this as a cheap, last minite mini-break. The hotel is modern with great views but a little out of the way - a drive to anywhere except the village shop (which is good!) The hotel collected and dropped off at the airport as advertised but the advertised shuttle service to Porto Montenegro was not running during our stay. This may be because it was off-season but the hotel's website doesn't say this. Taxis were easy to get - approx €15 to Tivat and €25 to Kotor on a fixed fayre but cheaper on a meter. Our suite was spacious and clean and staff were friendly. As a family of 4 we booked a junior suite with a double and a single room with a sofa in the living area for the 2nd child. We were surprised that the sofa, sold as a bed, was not a sofa bed and no bedding was provided until we asked. The sofa was just big enough for our 11 yr old to sleep on but wouldn't be suitable for a teenager. The hotel did offer us a family suite, with 2 double bedrooms, but our kids didn't want to share a bed. There was no room information provided and one thing to watch for is each suite has it's own hot water boiler, so you need to make sure it's switched on in plenty of time before you want a shower. You also need to space showers out as we ran out of hot water when we all wanted a shower before breakfast. Overall for the price we paid we were satisfied with our stay but probably wouldn't return.

Their gym isn't open. No room food service btw lunch and dinner. No toiletries in the room- shower cap, toothpaste, body lotion. The hotel transportation didn't pick me up at the airport. Their dining room at night is understaffed with very slow service. I arrived at 3pm and was asked to wait till 4pm to get in the room. Their are no phones in the room to the front desk so you have to go there in person for everything.

Location/rudeness

Most of the employees were very rude. To get to this hotel was extremely stressful and scary that once you arrived at the hotel, you wouldn't want to leave anymore due to the roads, especially at night. The road was narrow and steep that hardly 2 cars even with both mirrors folded in could not fit on the road at the same time. Not to mention, all drivers are impatient and will honk and rush you as both cars cannot pass through at the same time. It's also far from everywhere. The room itself along with the view at the pool is fantastic but that's about it. I do not recommend this hotel due to rudeness from the staff and the location.

18 nights - very bad experience

18 nights during august/september Dont believe the Pictures and the describtion of the rooms. They gave us the wrong room and it was not cleaned at arrival. The rooms are small and have no room for clothes, and the suitcases cannot fit in the room. No hangers for the clothes. Noise from the restaurant at night. They would not give us another room or let us check out earlier. We ended up checking out 8 days before arrival with no compensation. We have sent them 6 e-mail aften out stay, and they dont answer. Be aware of this hotel, they dont care if you come back or not.
