JR WEST GROUP VIA INN PRIME KYOTOEKI HACHIJOGUCHI
The best thing this hotel has is the location, about 2 blocks from the train station other that that I was not impress. Employees do not speak English and not friendly. Breakfast ok Room extremely small.

Kyoto Universal Hotel Karasuma
Bed was too hard for me. Asked for extra futon but was not available. Asked for a blanket and slept on top of the futon. Still too hard I felt like I was beaten up after two nights

Hotel Keihan Kyoto GRANDE
Staff was so nice, check in/out was quick and easy. They helped ship my luggage to my next hotel. The hotel itself is across the street from Kyoto Station so super convenient

Hotel The M’s Kyoto
This hotel was modern and very convenient to use in Kyoto as it was a very short walk to Kyoto station for taking multiple day trips to other cities and areas of Kyoto and easy access to the Shinkansen for additional travel without having to wheel luggage very far!
