"Rooms are not very small when compared to the hotels we stayed in Japan. Very clean, and located from 2min walk from the Kyoto station, makes it very easy to move around. Breakfast was ok, above Everage."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! It’s conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the Shinkansen station and is centrally located near many popular attractions, making it easy to explore the area. The air conditioning worked perfectly — a big plus after a warm day of sightseeing! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and like everywhere in Japan, the customer service was top notch. We were also able to drop off our luggage early, and the process was smooth and easy to arrange. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!"

"I enjoyed my stay at JR WEST GROUP VIA INN PRIME KYOTOEKI HACHIJOGUCHI. It's located within a 5-minute from Kyoto Station and has a 7-Eleven which is linked to the main lobby. The main challenge is finding your way out of Kyoto Station which is huge and confusing but no fault of the hotel! :) The room was a good size (not big but comfortable) and had a writing desk which made it easy for me to do my work and have my takeout meals. At the ground floor lift lobby, there's a sort of "buffet table" of daily consumables such as toothbrushes and shavers. The staff were friendly. Checking in and out was easily done at the automated kiosks. I loved the surroundings of the hotel. The area it was located in was safe, clean and quiet. It was easy to walk to the Keihan bus terminal at Avanti Building so that I could buy tickets for and board the airport limousine bus to Kansai International Airport. I would absolutely choose to stay in this hotel again if I were visit Kyoto again."

"Lovely and very clean hotel! The staff were extremely respectful and courteous throughout our stay. We appreciated the breakfast options — both the French set menu and the buffet were excellent. My family also loved the convenient location, close to Kyoto Station, shopping malls, and popular tourist attractions. I asked the concierge to help me find a taxi at 5:30 a.m. to Ninenzaka, and they arranged it in less than 10 minutes. The staff even made sure it was the right taxi for me. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Kyoto and will happily recommend this hotel to our friends."

"I LOVED this hotel so much. From the moment I stepped in, the staff were so kind and welcoming. They made sure to greet me every time I walked through the lobby. They provided amazing amenities and the room was lovely. The overall vibe of the hotel was chic and modern. This was a bit more on the quiet side of town which was totally fine with me as there were plenty of dining options steps away from the front door!"

"Everything is a bit small, (toilet and bath together and no room to change) only 2 beds are on in room. Jo complaining. Walk distances to Kyoto station. Dinner and breakfast are including that I didn’t know. Good to go back sleep and travel to use. "
