Lawson right across from the hotel. There are smoking rooms available. Although a bit outdated I had a comfortable stay"

"Great hotel to stay in Kumamoto. It's near the Kumamoto castle, Sakura-no-baba Josaien and the sakuramachi shopping centre. The hotel has a lot of on-site amenities such as a public bath and a restaurant. Staff are helpful and attentive."
