Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights
Bag all trash and put in containers next to front porch - any unbagged trash will not be removed and fees will be deducted from deposit
Remove sheets from all used beds and put on floor in same room.
Remove all extra food in fridge and cupboards - any food left that needs removed by cleaners will be an extra fee deducted from deposit.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Family Thanksgiving

This was the perfect 'home away from home' setting for family members coming from several states around the country. Two kitchens stocked with every cooking and baking tool possibly needed, plenty of seating space to eat together, and a great layout to have adequate quiet time or family time.

Great for large parties

The 2 kitchens and plenty of cookware including a griddle was great for large parties. Place was very clean. A paddle was missing for the the kayaks but everything else seemed to be in order.

Family friendly, beautiful, spacious lakeside stay

We had a party of 18, 11 of them being children. We had plenty of room to hang out and sleep. The dock was beautiful both morning and daytime and the kayak usage was greatly appreciated. The kitchens are stocked and well equipped to fix any meal. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone with a large party.

Location was amazing. Close to town and Food Lion grocery store. Some steep hills in and out of the neighborhood, including launch ramp. Clean with immediate customer service via text and email.

We had an amazing time!

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and just as described. Our large extended family, ranging in age from 3-80, had a great time being together. The owner made sure everything was ok and the property manager ensured everything was in working order. Nephews wanted the Xbox fixed and she sent someone to fix it even though the parents said it wasn’t necessary. I highly recommend this property.

Amazing

Having visited Norris Lake once before, we had an idea of what we were looking for on our next trip. This house fit the bill for 23 family members to enjoy the sun and lake for a week. Lots of bedrooms/bathrooms, and the kitchens were very well appointed with all that you need. The dock with the raised deck was great fun for all. Boating is a short troll in the no wake zone out to the main lake. We are looking forward to booking again!

The house is in a great setting and was as advertised. Great house for a family reunion. Was disappointed with the some repairs that were needed and having to have service people in a few times during the stay. Once repaired it was fine.

3rd Annual Family Outing, First time at Great Escape

Easy to rent, fantastic communication. Arrived day following LaFolette flooding and mudslides and Krista contacted us early on the arrival day to keep us up to date. Great space for our 3 kids and 4 grandkids. Very welcoming, well stocked, safe, enough parking. First time we could actually use the outside porches and not be rained on or eaten by bugs! Neighbors somewhat close, and Never heard their outside noise. Boat was delivered and picked up by Oasis, highly recommend them as well!! No issues on anything, oh yes we were told the hot tub cover was broken and it was fixed during stay, first time we had a hot tub, and it was wonderful! Grandkids LOVED the slide!! Wonderful home, definitely recommend to all. Thank you for helping our family continue to make family memories!

Beach or Lake?

After 30 years of beach vacations in S Carolina we did a family reunion in a place very different. The house location, facility, especially the two-tier boat jetty and deck, assured forgetfulness of sand and sea. A wonderful time was had by all generations. Communications with Krista our host were excellent. There have already been some conversations by some about a return some time. Grateful for a very successful week.
