The room was in good condition. The only issue, the bathroom door couldnt close, room 407. The stopper was in the wrong position. Maintenance was notified. My key card and the one next door, room 408, wouldnt work the first, second and sometimes it took five times to unlock.

We received a warm and helpful welcome at the reception desk. We were early, so they took our bags and gave us advice on what to do while we awaited check-in.
The concierge helped us get tickets to a musical concert.
Our room was very comfortable and tidy. The beds were exceptionally comfortable.
The location is perfect for exploring the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona and the free breakfast helped us get fueled up for walking.

Other than smaller than expected, our Triple 2 room was nicely updated. Liked the sturdy balcony window that open/shut easily, as the street was full of lively pedestrians 24/7 (happy we brought ear plugs). Nice bathroom fixtures and shower had good water pressure.
