"We just stayed at the Gillhouse (my elderly father and two young children) and it was absolutely wonderful. So scenic, relaxing, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. We will most definitely make this a summer tradition."

"The interior has been updated but some details have been missed. The pool was the main attraction for us. It was tough to find an outlet that held a cord. The cost of the rental was definitely for the pool. Of course not required but would have been nice to have a hair dryer and more kitchen items included, kitchen supplies weren't enough for a big crowd. We did find that out of the few eat out options Lakeside restaurant was our favorite. Overall we had a great time and with a few minor changes this could be a great vacation spot for big families. One thing to note is that the pool only has ladders and no steps."

"A real gem in the Tug Hill! The hosts (and their pooches) are friendly and gracious. The setting and environment is mostly quiet and secluded except for the occasional ATV racket piercing the stillness. The frozen sausage, cheese and egg biscuits provided were surprisingly tasty. Two minor issues: if utilizing the air conditioner, the curtains must be left open relegating your privacy as secondary because the walkway to the rooms passes directly in front of the only room window. Also, the coffee is horrible! Suggest bringing your own coffee pods."

"If you love the outdoors but still like to have the luxury of a hot shower and the ability to access an indoor kitchenette plus outdoor grilling and bonfires while being mostly secluded,... This is your place. And the property owner is super friendly and readily available to accommodate any needs necessary."
