Watertown is a small cute little city. It's not the prettiest or best shopping, but it's an excellent option for Canadians looking for the American stores we don't have at home. It's ticks off all my boxes for Christmas shopping.

"This is the second time that I have stayed at Capt.’s Inn and both times were excellent! The staff is very nice and welcoming when checking in and when asking about any information about the Alexandria Bay Area. The room was very clean and tidy, it’s nice to walk in a room and smell that it’s clean. They are also pet friendly which is a huge plus for me. All in all, great place to stay! Will be back next summer!! "
"Riveredge has always maintained the simple elegance of an older resort. Have always had enjoyable stays over the many years we have stayed at Riveredge Resort."
"It was a very well run facility. Our room on the back of the building was quiet and faced trees ,a gazebo and the pool. The pool area was nicely landscaped and not too big. The breakfast room was large ,and comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful. we would stay again."
"The room had ample space, the beds were comfortable and the private balcony with a view of the river was fabulous. There were tons of restaurants and activities within walking distance. "
