"The photos don't do this property justice.Nicely appointed for a modern home. Well furnished and kitted out for outdoor living in the beautiful hills of the Italian countryside.Impeccably clean. Comfortable bed.Warm reception by Daniela & her Dad. The only point of caution is that you need a car with good chassis clearance since part of the road to get there is off the beaten track. "

"Beautiful 13th century property expertly restored. Although the property has many personal touches the overall feel and quality are top grade. Carlo and his daughter Gioia both live on the property and were perfect hosts. The property is a little remote but close to several great restaurants (La Grotta and Al Mulino just to mention two) and not far from the town of Sasso Marconi which has anything you may need. The drive to Bologna Centro Storica is about 40 minutes. We had a great time...

"The home was charming, clean and host was wonderful! The views were amazing! The drive to get there was intense. If you’re uncomfortable with narrow, winding roads, this property is not recommended. We would have loved this property as an authentic Tuscan experience. If you want to immerse yourself in the everyday country culture this is the place! Unfortunately, due to multiple airline delays we were 3 days behind in travel plans so decided it made more sense for us to avoid the 1.5 hour drive return from a Florence day trip so left a day early. This was no fault of host or property, just unfortunate logistics. "
