"Sterile environment. Hallways were bare white. Staff not very friendly they just followed rules. We could not get a one hr early check in even though the hotel had low occupancy. We had too ask for extra pillows, none in closet. No bath mat. The soap dispenser was on the opposite wall of the sink. Food in main dining room was good not great. They had one waiter for all the diners. It was strange for a supposed five star restaurant. The view was spectacular. The massage we had in the spa was very good. Probably would try somewhere else next time. We felt like a number not a treasured guest. Our hotels in Lisbon and Cascais were excellent "

"The units are very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is set up perfect with all the dinnerware, pots, pans and appliances that you would require. We even had a juicer and we had the most delicious orange juice. The staff was always helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again!"

"Villa was huge and set on lovely grounds in a good location, if you drive. Rooms were all clean. Bbq area was great. Facilities were dated, plug sockets and kitchen equipment could be modernised. Private Pool area was lovely, but it was not cleaned by staff once while we were there for 5 days and by the end it was green on the steps and the edges with the same little bugs floating around for 3 days. That aside, I would stay there again but request the pool be cleaned more regularly."

"Very clean accommodation, great staff who go above and beyond. Pool area is clean and tidy, although the indoor and outdoor pools are not heated. The facility is in need of updating, in some ways this adds to the charm of the Portugese style of the apartments. The bar and restaurant was very quiet in April with no entertainment and closed at 10.30pm. The premises are out of the town and beach, Taxis are approx 7 euros to the beach and the nearest supermarket. 20 minute walk to supermarket and a good 40 minute walk into Carvoeiro. We were a 3 generation family of 7, we booked a one bed and a two bed apartment, they were spacious, clean and very good value."

"Hotel was spotless. Cleaning staff were amazing. Front desk staff could have been a bit more welcoming on arrival. Beautiful hotel right on the beach. Great buffet breakfast every morning. Enjoyed the pool. Definitely want to return. The bars across the street are loud but usually shut the noise down at 11 pm"
