Top Lagos Hotel Reviews

Carvi Beach Hotel
8/10 Good
"Location is perfect. Easy to get to and walking distance to amazing beach, cliffs. The facilities are well maintained and clean. Aren’t luxurious though. A bit of a walk to the old town where most of the restaurants are located at.
A nice breakfast is included
It is within walking distance from Ponta do Piedade, where you can watch an awesome sunset (see photo)
I would gladly return"

Boavista Golf & Spa - Bela Colina Holidays
10/10 Excellent
"Short stay, absolutely first class accommodation .
One silly annoyance was the curtains were hard to pull. Rails need a wipe with Vaseline and they will glide easily."

Aqualuz Lagos by The Editory
6/10 Okay
"The hotel is well located. Close to town and to the beaches. But the hotel needs some renovations"

Cascade Wellness Resort
6/10 Okay
"We rented a poolside view apartment for 5 nights, as did two other groups we were traveling with.
Pros:
pool areas are good, excellent for toddlers,
large resort, covering large area, lots of free parking,
access to cliffside trails was nice w/ good views,
staff all friendly and competent,
resort restaurants served tasty food.
Cons:
there appeared to be very little investment into the maintenance of the facilities. I mean everything...exteriors and interiors. For example, in our room the cold water valve under the sink was turned off because the faucet leaked badly when it was turned on. The refrigerator and freezer doors didn't shut and seal regularly because the cabinets and cabinet doors were all askew. All the wicker patio furniture was frayed and in rough shape. The one couch in the living room was missing all the backrest cushions. The latch/lock for the property gate to the trails was broken off, looked like it had been that way for a long time. The spa area was underwhelming.
I definitely wouldn't call it a luxury resort and wouldn't feel it was worth the money if I'd paid more than a couple hundred dollars a night.

Agua Hotels Vila Branca
10/10 Excellent
"We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in Lagos. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very convenient for exploring the area. The staff were especially kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about their guests’ experience.
During our stay, I developed some rash issues after sleeping on the sofa bed and noticed a few bugs there, although I cannot confirm whether it was directly related. I contacted the hotel about the concern, and they responded immediately and handled the situation very professionally. They reassured us after checking the issue and made a real effort to ensure we felt comfortable and cared for throughout the rest of our stay, which we truly appreciated.
The location was also very good — within walking distance of several small restaurants and beautiful beaches, around 20–30 minutes depending on where you go.
Overall, despite the small concern during our stay, we appreciated the hotel’s quick response, cleanliness, and excellent customer service."

Marina Club Suite Hotel
8/10 Good
"Decent property, conveniently close to train station. Our large room included 2 sofas using bedding mattresses (so each could sleep 1 for a total of 4). Separate bedroom. Fairly new. Microwave + fridge. One very small TV in main room (none in bedroom). Our 1st floor room (2nd floor by North American standards) had a small ant infestation (at least nothing like bedbugs or other bad news critters). Building construction across the street meant a bit of noise but the noise was fairly low-level (not sure if this was due to good sound insulation or just the new building contractors weren't doing very noisy work) and did not start until a bit after 8am. There's a big grocery store just down the street. AC seemed to work fine (though we didn't experience hot days)."
