"I expected more. I'm sure if you are a golfer, this is a great vacation but we were looking for pool and lake fun. We did enjoy ourselves but the pools are basic hotel pools, nothing fancy. Everything was expensive which made me not be able to relax as I intended. I figured there would be some free activities but we even had to pay to play on the old pickle ball courts no one was using. There was construction going on so we couldn't even hear the score as we yelled across the net. While the staff was nice, we had a few instances of frustration like food delivered to us without silverware, napkins, ketchup and by the time we tracked someone down for these items, the food was cold. Just not what I expect from a luxury resort."

"We had a wonderful time! The home was exactly as described! The only thing we had issues with is in the middle of the night one room had a tv turn on randomly and we could not get it off, and in another room a lamp had turned on in the middle of the night and we could not figure that out either. Other than that it was perfect!!"

"This hotel location and amenities is amazing. Probably the nicest La Quinta we’ve stayed at. Beautiful views with a balcony to enjoy coffee. Kids had a blast at the pool. My only complaint is that the downstairs lobby smells like animals. This location allows pets and you know that as soon as you walk in. Outside of that, this hotel is perfect!"

"The property was perfect for our family trip - great layout with plenty of large bedrooms and bathrooms. It was decorated beautifully and was clean and comfortable. We loved the outdoor game room, the pool and spa and the putting green, kids of all ages had a blast:)) Highly recommend!!"

"The condo was very clean and set up very nicely with two king bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. The beds were extremely comfortable. We wish the water pressure in the showers was better. The view of the lake was absolutely beautiful from the decks. Perfect in the morning for sipping coffee and the evening for sharing a bottle of wine. There were only 3 chairs around the patio table, but advertised as having 6. Our 4th adult had to lean against the back of the patio couch to “sit” at the table. This was unfortunate. The patio cushions were ripped and torn. We were told they had some replacements on order. We did not cook in the kitchen but it appeared to be properly equipped for cooking. We did use the outdoor grill. Unfortunately, only 1 of the 3 burners worked. There were a lot of TV’s in the condo which was nice, but the resolution on all of them were blurry. We could not get the deck TV to work. Overall, this condo was clean and comfortable. It was convenient to all of the amenities. My husbands family owned a water front home on the same street for many years. We consider Horseshoe Bay one of our favorite getaways."

"The house exceeded expectations. Great space for two families to spread out and let the kids run around. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, dishes, serving platters, and pots/pans. Pool toys & towels were great. Plenty of bedding. Communication with the owner was fantastic, with easy check-in and check-out. We were so happy they could accommodate a late check out for our group so everyone could have a full morning together. The kids loved the pool w/volleyball net and the swing set. Close proximity to both Horseshoe Bay and Marble Falls for restaurants and grocery stores. This was a beautiful, clean property that was perfect for our groups weekend trip."
