"Renovated room was clean. Note it’s located on the main road in and out so you could hear traffic from your room. Room was very clean. Had a great restaurant onsite."
On the beach! Get away to the beach in beautiful Moclips - dogs welcome!
10/10 Excellent
"The location on the beach is amazing!!The house is truly beautiful and the owner has filled it with everything you need to have a great family trip there wirh your pets.We appreciate the towels and items left to use for our dogs. Having a washer and dryer is a big plus for us. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook. The owners have left rubber boots, body boards, kites, sand toys, just really everything you need to enjoy a trip at the beach. No check out instructions on vrbo so we emptied all the trash cans, washed dishes the night before (besides morning dishes we put in dishwasher, put all dirty towels by the washer, stripped bed from upstairs and started the washer with bedding My only complaints are that some things needs some tlc/attention. The bed sheets and pillow cases have tears and holes. The kitchen mats are coming apart so you trip on them easily, the outdoor shower is great - the shower head just needs replaced because the water comes out everywhere, the sinks and shower upstairs do no drain properly (so we spent a few days showering in a tub that fills up quite a bit from not draining, thats gross, the house hasn't been dusted in a long time so many cobwebs and dust, the back porch is worped so we triped on it a few times, the beach access isn't private- the owners have allowed the neighbors to use it which we were not told about, so they walk right next to your cars/and deck with their dogs off a leash so beware if you bring your dogs"
Lake front Quinault Cottage Inside Olympic National Park
10/10 Excellent
"What a find! Comfortable, quiet, clean! Views of the lake could not be beat. Wonderful hikes nearby, easy access to coast. Spacious house, would stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful vacation."
"The property features attractive buildings and a pleasant natural environment, but we had bad experiences there.
The walls offer very little sound insulation, making conversations from neighboring rooms clearly audible and affecting privacy and rest. The shower water remains chilly even when set to the highest temperature, which makes bathing uncomfortable.
There is no in‑room phone, nor is any contact information provided for reaching the front desk. The only number available online is for reservations, so any concerns require physically walking to the lobby. This is inconvenient and impractical, especially during late hours.
The room lacks a functioning thermostat for air conditioning. An electric unit beneath the window appears to be a heater, but its controls do not work, leaving its purpose unclear. To cool the room, the only option was to open the balcony door.
The Wi‑Fi is free but comes with notable restrictions. Streaming services such as YouTube are blocked unless guests pay for a higher‑tier plan. While I understand the business model, it is disappointing given that many travelers rely on streaming for entertainment or work."
Lake Quinault Cottage Cove Stay&Play" OR "Relax&Revive In Olympic National Park
10/10 Excellent
"House was clean, abundantly stocked, warm & cozy. The view compares to none other … peaceful lake water lapping at the rocks on shore, moon light reflecting off the water, occasional visit from robins, crows & osprey, toasty crackling fire pit/seating for roasting marshmallows … so much more for the ultimate get away. Thank you !!!"
Dog-friendly cottage w/ beach access & ocean view from living room
8/10 Good
"The property location is great! Easy walk to the beach and property is decently maintained. The bathroom could use a deep clean, (ceilings and trim around the shower need detailed), the gas fireplace added a nice bit of ambiance for the chilly evenings. Proximity to the small store is convenient. The door lock is pretty wonky... you need to push in the key, and the housing is really loose, but eventually we figured it out. The kitchen has most of the necessary amenities. Check out time seems a bit early, but because we had plans it fit our schedule. "
