Cozy 2-bedroom cabin plus bunk house in the central Adirondacks, Long Lake
10/10 Excellent
"Ideal Alternative to Camping with Amazing Decks & Great LocationIf you are reading reviews to decide whether to book this place, the answer is simple: do it! From the start, the host was incredibly helpful, and the check-in process was seamless and stress-free. The property itself is clean and tucked away, yet still close to everything. While the shower is a bit tight, the home truly has everything you need for a fun trip to the Adirondacks. The main living area features two couches, a cozy chair, and a kitchen table, offering plenty of comfortable seating. Upstairs, you will find a super comfortable queen bed with an en-suite bathroom and a nice deck that is perfect for morning tea or evening drinks with cheese and crackers. The main floor also opens up to a deck equipped with a grill and a table for outdoor gatherings, with a firepit located right off the deck. For sleeping arrangements, in addition to the upstairs queen bed, there is a twin bed and a futon on the first floor. We did not use the separate bunkhouse, but it looks like a fantastic option if you are traveling with kids. The location is excellent. Tupper Lake is only about 20 minutes away, and Saranac Lake and Lake Placid are just a short drive past that. If you want to feel connected to nature but are tired of roughing it in a tent, this is the perfect alternative to camping. We had a wonderful time and are already planning our next trip!"

"Beautiful space. Warm. Cozy. Host was friendly. Gave us great tips for places to see nearby.Wonderful history stories. His grandfather's painting on the walls.Cabin restored but saved the authentic wood and furniture. Responded right away with our questions. Piles of dry wood for the fire. Perfect."
"Me and my 17 year old enjoyed our Memorial weekend getaway at the Bearidise cabin. We already anticipated a chilly and possibly rainy weekend so we knew we wouldn’t be taking advantage of the beach or water amenities. The cabin is definitely only a 2 or 3 person cabin. It has pretty much all of the accommodations that you need just bring your food, clothes and toiletries. We will plan on staying again the next time we go to the Adirondacks."
