David and Daniela are great hosts, the location is excellent being located right on long lake with so many other ADK attractions within easy driving range. Can not recommend Sandy Point motel enough! "Just pulling in we were in awe of the beauty! Then once inside we were giddy…absolutely stunning mountain log cabin with so many amenities and beautiful furnishings, artwork, stunning appliances and beautiful baghroooms and super comfy beds and the list is endless! This was just what we needed and more Outdoor fire pit, seating, enclosed porch … serene and restful!"

"We stayed here for 4 nights and found it to be a great place to stay! Very comfortable, excellent food and delicious wine. Pretty view of Long Lake and very convenient to the Blue Mountaon Lake museum. I would definitely stay here again. "

"This was our second stay at this location. We loved it the first time, so when we saw it was available again, we jumped at the chance. Mike was great with communication, and everything was perfect! We used the fire pit every night; the kids loved the basement game room with pool table, foosball table and steel tip dart board. The location is on a quiet, secluded dead end road, so it was peaceful and remote even though it's just outside of Eagle Bay. Very close to all of the amenities of Old Forge and Inlet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay again and would stay again in a heartbeat! "

"Although we were at Paddler’s Rest briefly, we would return again to enjoy all of the amenities. The private sandy beach, indoor game room, and free use of kayaks and canoes were a huge bonus. The refrigerator in the motel room was sizable. The staff were welcoming and quick to give us dining suggestions."
