"As cheap and plain as it could be. How to check in at a sister motel over a mile away, but was not notified until a day after arrival. Had to ask neighbors where the office was. Looks like it has been closed up for years. Barely worth half of what we paid."

"I loved everything about this property! But, I think what stands out the most is 1) its uniqueness. We stayed in a 2-person a frame cabin that was so cute and sophisticated and cozy all in one. I love the designer style. It was equipped with all the comforts we wanted. (No TV but we didn’t care! We weren’t there to watch tv). 2) the staff was so kind and helpful. Their recommendations for dining and hiking and what to see in town was perfect for us. When we got home late one night they even had our fire pit ready for us to cook s’mores at 9pm. And 3) all the little amenities around the property. A walking trail to see the river. Pool, corn hole, hammocks, a library, the community fire pit for enjoying s’mores with other visitors if you want to be social. I mean, you don’t get any of this at a regular hotel! 100% recommend."
"The view from the lower lake side rooms was amazing. It does need a littlw upgrading af far as the room. The bathroom door did not open and close well at all."
"The owner and his family were extremely attentive in getting us settled and making sure we knew everything the property had to offer, including fire pits stocked with wood overlooking the lake, a private beach, and complimentary canoes and kayaks. The setting is beautiful, peaceful and a great access point to all Long Lake has to offer. "
"Residences are a little outside of downtown but quiet and comfortable, and near to a lot of attractions in any direction. Having a kitchen is perfect for families who spend the days hiking or in outdoor activities and want a quiet place to eat and relax in the evening. Firepit was a bonus for winding down and sharing stories."
