"My boys and I had a great weekend at Whiteface Lodge. It's conveniently located to the local sites. When not seeing all the great things Lake Placid has to offer, we felt right at home at the lodge. With the game room, movie theater, pool and roasting marshmallows over the campfire, we have terrific memories of our stay. Looking forward to coming back again. "

"Breakfast was awful. None of the food is freshly made. It's all cheap, packaged and highly processed food. Fruit is canned. Pastry selection is lacking. Eggs are salty and premade. No real maple syrup to go with the waffles. Needs improvement "

"The unit was clean. Thought the beds were comfortable. Great location across from store. Great having two bedrooms and two bathrooms. "

"The floors were dirty upon arrival and we did have an issue with used/ bad body odor smell with the comforter that was on the bed. We called and they arrange to swap it out. Also the pull out couch was broken and not a comfortable couch to lounge on. "

"Great location. Glad we chose staying on Mirror Lake vs Main Street as most restaurants weren’t open Sun- Wed. The house was absolutely beautiful with high end updates & decor. It had everything we needed. The owners were extremely attentive with excellent communication. Quick 15min car ride to Whiteface mountain during the winter. Would definitely stay again if we come back to Lake Placid. "
