"Historic Mountainside Cabin At Braeside" Pet friendly.
10/10 Excellent
"We wanted to be outside the city in a cabin in the woods. Also, it was just the two of us and we were bringing our dog so we were able to find this property at the last minute. Although very small it was just fine for the two of us. It has a little kitchen and we did cook breakfast and coffee, etc.. had everything we needed for basic cooking. We did see wildlife out outside and enjoyed the front porch. The river is nearby although you have to walk over a main road to get to it. We slept comfortably and really enjoyed our stay. We brought a large pick up truck and it made parking very difficult. This is better suited for a compact car. The grocery store is right down the street and we are only 10 minutes from the beavers Meadow entrance to the park. "
Cabin, views, private hot tub, hike into Natl Park
8/10 Good
"This property is in a beautiful location and was just a few short minutes outside of town. The property manager was so responsive and checking in and checking out was super easy. The only thing that was a downside is the lack of air-conditioning when it’s 85 outside. I know that was complete luck of the draw and I knew it did not have air conditioning when I rented it. I love the fact that the cottage is historic and I understand why The windows in some rooms are sealed shut. The smallest bedroom was nearly unbearable in the heat because of lack of airflow. Had it been just 10 cooler outside, this would be a moot point. It has absolutely nothing to do with the property. I would just advise others considering this property to think about the air conditioning issue if you’re coming during a time when it may be quite hot. When it did cool off, it was absolutely delightful overnight with the windows open. The sunrise was beautiful, and the hot tub was amazing."
