"Queen suite was very nice. TV needs to be upgraded to a Smart TV or offer Amazon Prime, NETFLIX, etc. Surprised by a per day charge for a "resort fee" I had to pay at the hotel, which was not included in my Expedia bill. The clerk said it was in the "fine print" on Expedia. Free breakfast didn't start until 8 AM, which was not posted anywhere, nor mentioned by the desk clerk when we checked in. On a positive note, the location is great; a very short downhill walk to the main street of Lake Placid and our room had a nice view of Mirror Lake."

"My husband and I enjoyed our 2-night stay at Lake Placid Inn Residences. We had a living room/full kitchen, bedroom with king sized bed and a full bathroom. The rooms had been renovated recently and were spotless. The location is about a mile from Main Street Lake Placid, but it is easily accessible by car or even by walking if you so choose. Note that check-in is at Lake Placid Inn which is at the other end of town; but that caused no problems. We would definitely recommend Lake Placid Inn Residences for a couples or family stay."

However, was surprised that the room didn't have a microwave and the mini fridge wasn't always working. The hotel was extremely accommodating and very pet friendly. Would definitely stay again."
