Top Lake Ponderosa Hotel Reviews
EverSpring Inn & Suites
8/10 Good
"The room was very out of date and needed some upkeep. The staff was amazing, breakfast was good and beds really nice. I think if they just try to do a little updating and deep cleaning it would be amazing."
Western Inn & Suites
8/10 Good
"For a pet friendly room, it was pretty clean. Looked like they could have cleaned or vacuumed around the edges better"
Cozy Lake Cottage! Dog Friendly, Fishing/Beach/Kayak. Military 30% Off
10/10 Excellent
"A beautiful little getaway. The Mrs. and I had a great time. Everything was easily accessible, well labeled, and checkout process was smooth. Would recommend to anyone wanting to explore around Grinnell. Thank you so much for a great little place for our anniversary."
AmericInn by Wyndham Grinnell
10/10 Excellent
"Staff awesome. Rooms were clean."
Hotel Grinnell Downtown, an Ascend Collection Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"A unique property — a boutique hotel converted from a 1921 junior high school. Large spacious rooms with 15 foot vaulted ceilings. Staff are very friendly and attentive, and non-intrusive. It's central, just a couple of blocks away from Broad street and Main street. There's free self parking on the street outside the hotel, and it's a 12 minute walk or a 5 minute bike ride to Grinnell College (there are free-to-borrow bikes available in the hotel). Best hotel in and around Grinnell by a country mile. And so it's hard to book rooms whenever there are events at Grinnell College (have to book weeks sometimes months in advance)."
Gorgeous 1908 Estate on 1 acre of land. 6 blocks from Grinnell College.

Charming 3-bedroom house in Brooklyn
10/10 Excellent
"This house was perfect for our stay! It's nestled in the small town of Brooklyn and the perfect place for us to lay our heads after a long day at the Iowa game. It had all the space we needed and more. Amber was a very accommodating host and quick to respond. Definitely would recommend this property!"
Montezuma Vacation Rental with Fire Pit Access!
10/10 Excellent
"Wasn't sure what to expect before going. It was a little further out than I was thinking but very peaceful. Haaf three units labeled so easy to know which one you were going to. Had to call the host and answered right away. Very helpful."
Grinnell Heritage Tiny House - On Organic Farm
8/10 Good
"The Tiny House was a cute little place to stay. The location is very convenient to downtown Grinnell. The interior was neat, simple, and covered the basics. The view looking over the little meadow and farm land was beautiful and peaceful. The bed in the loft was comfortable and cozy. For people with physical challenges it may be too difficult to maneuver up and down the stairs, but there is a futon couch that converts into a small bed. Overall we had a nice stay at the Tiny House."
