Harrah's Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino – A Caesars Rewards Destination

Harrah's Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino – A Caesars Rewards Destination

8/10 Good
"I usually stay at Harvey’s which is closer to the lake and has better lake views. It has recently been renovated and is now called Caesar’s Republic. I thought I’d stay at Harrah’s this time. The room was nice and big and comfortable. You could see part of the lake if you stood in the window. They had a huge, firm and comfortable couch by the window. Some things that didn’t work: the little coffee machine in the room didn’t work. One of the toilets — I think they have two bathrooms in every room — kept running off and on all day and throughout the night: it seemed like it was connected to another toilet, so it would periodically run and then stop again. I simply kept that bathroom door closed so that I didn’t hear it. Right outside my door in the hallway was a piece of art that was hung crookedly. I tried to straighten it, but it really needed to be re-hung. As I was checking out, I asked the young woman at the desk how I should notify the hotel about these things, and she said that I should just tell her. She seemed bored with her job and didn’t seem to write or type anything down. I doubt that any of my comments made it past her."

"I booked this hotel for a last minute getaway and was quite pleased with my stay. I felt the location was excellent for my needs and my room was large and clean. Having both a fridge AND a microwave was terrific! The only reason I knocked off a star was because if people are talking in the room next door sound does carry through. I would absolutely stay here again."
