Modern design but fairly basic hotel. Harbourside location, good for sightseeing, shopping and evening entertainment. Walking distance to both the Hippodrome and Beacon theatres. Staff mostly foreign and not speaking or understanding basic requests. Rooms are basic, beds and pillows are not very comfortable. Bathroom shower was good, both hot and with good pressure. Breakfast was OK, simple English breakfast options plus a small continental choice, with cereals, yoghurt and a few pastries. All in all OK for an overnight stay.

Nice location and property. Room had cobwebs hanging from door which was off putting. Bathroom door didn’t fit door frame which meant it didn’t close. This could be an issue for some parties.

"Everything was nice and clean. The room was really nice generous size. It’s a little outdated but not too old and it being clean makes totally up for that. Plenty of space for our dog as well.
