"Check in was easy. I had filled in the registration form prior to our visit. They had taken not of my comment on the form and had given us a room with easy access, no stairs to worry about. Our room was very clean when we arrived, had a nice smell to it when we opened the door. On discovering the duvet contained feathers, my daughter asked if it was possible to have a duvet without feathers, a replacement was brought up to our room within an hour. Staff were happy, helpful and cheerful, nothing seemed to much trouble to ensure we had a pleasant stay. We will be back next time we are up that way. "

"From start to finish everything was just perfect! Directions to find the hut were clear and check in was easy, the hut was beautiful and had everything you need for a lovely little weekend away. The hot tub was amazing - sitting out under the stars enjoying a drink or two! We ordered more wood for the hot tub and it was dropped off to us in no time at all. We took a short drive to Belvoir castle for coffee & cake - a nice little place to have a look round if you fancy getting out and about. It was a pleasure to meet Chris the owner on our last evening - keep up the good work! We cant wait to come back! :) "

"I highly recommend this property!! Very clean and well maintained located in the peaceful village of Scalford. We were surprised by the size of the house......it's huge and has all the amenities you need for a very comfortable stay. The welcome basket was a very nice touch and made it all the more memorable. The neighbours are very friendly and added to the ambiance of the idyllic village setting. The village is beautiful and well worth a walk around. The pub is a 5 minute stroll and serves good food from Friday-Sunday. Melton Mowbray is a short drive away and Grantham is only about 20 minutes in the opposite direction. There are plenty of points of interest close by. We went to Belvoir Castle, Sir Isaac Newton's house, took a canal boat trip and went to Lincoln to see the cathedral and the castle. We all wished we could have stayed longer!!"
