"Great location, very close to Union Square, shopping, restaurants and trolley stops - also not far from China Town or the water front at all. Around a mile - ish on foot. The rooms we booked were clean, just a little stuffy, had to open the window but we didn't mind. We'd book again just for location!"

"We love staying at the InterContinental Mark Hopkins and it has become our go-to hotel in San Francisco. The location on Nob Hill is fantastic, with beautiful views and so much old-world charm and character. It really feels like a classic San Francisco experience. We were able to walk to North Beach, Chinatown, and the Ferry Building, and after a long day of exploring, taking the cable car back up the hill to the hotel was such a fun and convenient option. The beds were very comfortable, the staff was always helpful, and the hotel itself is charming and full of history. We always enjoy our stays here and will definitely continue coming back."
