Located on the sixth floor of a building with two entrances, one of them with direct access to the beach. The apartment has a bedroom with two beds, living room, bathroom, kitchen and terrace all independent. Kitchen with all utensils, refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker, water heater, induction cooker, etc. Living room with flat TV, stereo, D. V.D. and Canal Satellite and Wine Fridge. Very tiny apartment, but perfect for two. With huge penthouse patio overlooking beach. Direct access to beach. Grocery store next door. Very convenient. My go to place when I am in Grand Canary. You will fall in love with this place!

Furnishings were not as per pictures. For this reason, the place was not suitable for a long term stay, originally over 6 weeks. We requested cutting the stay short, which we did at a significant loss to ourselves, receiving less than half of what we should have. We felt this was unfair due to the listing inaccuracies.Also the dryer shown in the listing next to the Universal symbol of a clothes dryer is in fact a hair dryer.We woke up at 4 am to water gushing from the water heater in the bathroom causing a major flood. These things happen, but just added to what was already becoming an unpleasant experience.The walls in the bedroom are thin, and the neighbours speak loudly.The terrace which is very large with spectacular views had too much furniture so hard to move the loungers as the sun moved when the large pole created shade. I understand the owner trying to accommodate many situations so may be more suitable to other renters.We found everything to be damp. Our clothes in the drawers, the bedding. I can only think this is the proximity to the sea and the air is damp. This was a time that a dryer would have been useful.Overall, it’s unfortunate as the place has a lot of potential, the views stunning, and location perfect. With small changes it could have been much better.
This property is exactly as pictured and while the apartment is small, it is so functional and has everything you need...but the space on the terrace is so big and beautiful with awnings, and lovely furniture, this is where we spent most of our time if we weren't on the beach. Claes and Maria were great hosts and very helpful. Absolutely loved our stay. Bill and Julie

Wonderful terrace and great location
Nice wee apartment, very comfortable with everything you need. Right on a lovely sandy beach with wonderful views over the sea. The large terrace was fantastic - afternoons lying on a sunbed listening to the waves and evenings watching the sunset over the mountains with a glass of wine. Central location, five minutes to Catalina Park with the bus station, tourist info and departure point for tours. Even had a 24 hour shop across the road with fresh bread.

amazing balcony and view and sound of sea so relaxing. Apartment really tiny but had all we needed
When we first saw the apartment, it appeared even smaller than the photos. However, we soon realised it had everything we needed, especially with the bedroom storage,and the size was perfectly adequate. We booked the apartment because of the balcony and this was even better than it appeared and we spent most of our time relaxing outside. We loved our time here and were sad it was not longer. Many thanks to Claes and Maria for sharing it with us and for coming straight out and having a new boiler fitted that night so we had hot water. The bus service was really good. We took a trip down to San Agustin and walked from there to Playa del Ingles. We enjoyed the walk, but were so glad we were not staying there!
The hospitality was excellent, Claes and Maria did so much to help us settle in including sending info on what to do where to go etc via email.
The apartment was literally on the beach, the views were breathtaking. The balcony was like another apartment, it was spacious and had everything you needed to sit back and relax. And enjoy the view.
The shops and supermarkets were just outside the entrance of the apartment. There are 2 entrances, one to take you to the beach and the other to the street entrance. Do get a street map it really helps out, especially in the beginning of your stay. We got ours from the kiosk in Santa Catalina square, as the supermarkets didn’t have any.
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, only wish we stayed longer.
Der Clou bei dieser Wohnung ist die Terrasse - genauso groß wie die Wohnung, direkt über dem Paseo de las Canteras. Perfekt, weil es einen Ausgang direkt zum Strand gibt, man kann zum Baden einfach runtergehen und wieder hoch. Der Strandabschnitt ist der für uns Beste, man kann dort gut ins Wasser gehen. Supermärkte und Restaurants fußläufig zu erreichen. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt und bedanken uns bei unseren GastgeberInnen.

Det står at leiligheten er 60 kvm, men den er bare knapt 30. Terrassen er 30. solen kommer ikke på terrassen før 14.30 om vinteren. Det står også at det er tørketrommel, men det er det ikke. Kjøkkenet er veldig trangt og det er kun to kokeplater og en gammel mikrobølgeovn. Alt er gammelt og litt slitt.
Truly a home away from home. Beautiful authentic Spanish aparment with lots of personal touches, fabulous terrace with amazing views right on the beach, within walking distance of everything we love, good food, a myriad of shopping experiences, range of different walks, plus a music auditorium where we saw a classical concert with the sea as the backdrop, theatre and museums in Vagueta. This aparment delivered everything we hoped for and more! Claes and Maria are kind and generous hosts for whom nothing is any trouble, can't wait to come back!
Liten, mysig och ok för två om vädret tillåter vistelse på den fina och stora altanen. Ingen sol på altanen i januari före kl 15.00! I övrigt bästa tänkbara läge med två minuter till bad i havet och ännu snabbare till topprestauranger och shopping. Mycket trevligt och hjälpsamt värdpar!

Eine wunderbare Unterkunft in absoluter Top-Lage - direkt an Strand gelegen aber dennoch ruhig, die Wohnung selber ist gut ausgestattet, vor allem der riesige Balkon ist unvergleichlich - Luxus pur!
Vi hadde fine uker i leiligheten til Claes og Maria del Mar. Leiligheten var ikke stor, men den hadde alt man behøver både på kjøkken og bad og stue. Terrassen var stor og fin med utsikt til havet, nesten hele Las Canterasstranden og Teide på Tenerife. Om vi skal tilbake til Las Palmas kommer vi til å forsøke å få leid denne leiligheten igjen.
Claes og Maria del Mar lot oss få beholde leiligheten en stund etter oppsatt utsjekkingstidspunkt og skaffet oss taxi til flyplassen

Wohnung sehr klein
Gastgeber,Lage und Terasse Perfect. Bei schlechteren Wetter sind die Räumlichkeiten viel zu klein . Kleiner als auf den Foros ersichtlich. Deshalb nur 3 Sterne
Das kleine, aber sehr funktionell eingerichtete Apparment ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Aber die Superlage hebt die kleinen Mängel auf (sehr ringhörig). Die Terrasse ist gut möbiliert - nur störten die hie und da auftretenden schlechten Gerüche von Abwasser aus verschiedenen Lüftungsrohren.
Für die Wintermonate würde ich die Wohnung nicht empfehlen, da der Sonnenstand sehr flach ist, scheint die Sonne nur seitlich ab ca. 14.00 h auf die Terrasse. Aber da wir Wetterglück hatten, haben wir die paar Stunden Sonne umso mehr genossen.

Wohnung direkt am Strand mit einer überragenden Terrasse
Wir haben die Wohnung besonders wegen der tollen Lage und der sehr grossen und grosszügig ausgestatteten Terrasse gebucht. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Man konnte schnell über die Uferpromenade ins Meer zum schwimmmen gehen, einen Strandspaziergang machen oder zu den nahegelegenen Fischlokalen flanieren und sich dann wieder ganz individuell in den gemütlichen Terrassenmöbeln sonnen.
Die Wohnung war gut gut ausgetattet, jedoch für einen Aufenthalt bei schlechtem Wetter etwas zu klein. Durch die gute Lage und die Nähe zu den Bushaltestellen, konnten wir aber viele andere Aktivitäten auf der Insel unternehmen.

An apartment with a view.
A lovely compact apartment at the 6 floor, lift, lovely terrace, astonishing view (Teide in the horizon) and the Las Canteras beach in full view. Restaurants, shops and supermercados in the neighborhood. Recommmended.
