Las Canteras Beach is one of Spain’s most renowned urban beaches. It stretches for around 3 kilometers and is famous for its golden sand and lively atmosphere. The beach is sheltered by a natural reef barrier known as “La Barra,” which creates a calm-water area ideal for swimming and snorkeling. It is also a popular spot for surfing, especially in the La Cícer area.

Along the seafront promenade, you’ll find a wide selection of restaurants, cafés, and shops, providing a well-rounded experience for both visitors and locals. The beach is a central hub for cultural and sporting activities, and it’s common to see people enjoying beach sports, live music, and outdoor events. With its mild climate throughout the year, Las Canteras is an ideal destination to enjoy the sun and the sea in any season.

The property is easily accessible by car. Gran Canaria Airport (LPA) is approximately a 30-minute drive away.

Getting around Playa de Las Canteras is quite simple and comfortable, as it has a well-developed infrastructure to facilitate the movement of visitors.

Here are some recommendations:Walking: The promenade along the beach is perfect for walking. You can walk the entire length of the beach, enjoying the views, the sea breeze and the wide variety of shops and restaurants along the promenade. Bike: Bike lanes are available in certain areas of the promenade, making it an excellent option for getting around quickly and in an environmentally friendly way. In addition, there are several bike rental points nearby.

Public Transport: Las Palmas de Gran Canaria has a good network of buses that will allow you to get to the beach from different parts of the city. Public bus lines (Guaguas) are frequent and affordable. Car: If you prefer to use a car, there are several car parks close to the beach, although it can be difficult to find a parking space during peak hours or high season.

In addition, many nearby streets have regulated parking areas. Taxis: You can also opt for taxis, which are easily accessible and relatively inexpensive. There are several taxi ranks near the beach.
