Pool was closed and they ran out of bottled water and a few other things. The casino took my wife’s money. Otherwise we loved it and the staff was friendly and very helpful. We would stay there again.

Great trail right by the parking lot takes you to the hoover dam. Staff super friendly. Place can use a bit of an upgrade as hallway gave me vibes from the Shining. Casino is pretty no frills(which I dig). Damn good burger at the bighorn cafe

Barbara greeted us at the front desk & she was AMAZING!! She promptly checked us in, asked if we had eaten since it was less than 20 min until the cafe closed. We hadn’t eaten so she walked us over there and told the hostess that we haven’t eaten. I forgot to get the hostess’s name, but she was also amazing and said it was no problem. We took our food to go so we didn’t keep them waiting longer, but they even said we could sit down and eat if we wanted. The food was ready pretty quick and it was delicious. Amazing service here!!

Older but clean. Food was good and well priced. Smoking on the first floor but it wasn’t present in the restaurant as we sat in the back. Couldn’t get a coffee until 8 am. Pool and spa closed. Good value Next to Hoover dam which was great tour and no resort fee!!!!

People were nice but the place is tired and old. The air conditioner was terribly loud and hard to sleep. Bed was not very comfortable. Shower would not turn off. Hotel smelled smoky.

Liked Location and Beauty. The Dam Wow. Travel Services and Fuel Avail. Dog Area Great with long safe walk available. Problems? It was hot and the pool was locked. Not Good. Hotel Restaurant CLOSED for Breakfast. We, like most people, wanted and needed to leave before the place opened so NO Breakfast. This needs to change.

Thank you for your feedback. Unforeseen issues with the pool and hot tub caused it to be closed, needing resurfacing. I will get word to the café about their breakfast hours, they open at 8am daily. The General Sore does offer some breakfast items, and is open 24/7.We will use this information to help improve our guest experience.

We had a great stay at the Hoover Dam Lodge. We are a family of 3 traveling with a 5yo. We found the hotel to be extremely conveniently located to the Dam, lake Mead, Valley of Fire and Las Vegas. Clean and comfortable. Security on site not that we ever saw it needed. Staff were all great and the dining was on point. Best food we had the entire trip. The food was not over priced in fact l think we spent $40 (total) for dinner and that included a drink (alcoholic beverage). The quality and taste was by far the best even compared to restaurants we had dined at in Las Vegas, Sedona and Flagstaff. Even if you don't want to stay at the hotel you should stop in for the food. I definitely recommend staying at, dining at the Hoover Dam Lodge and Casino.

This is our second stay here and I remember why I loved it. The people at the desk, in the restaurants, and in the casino acted as if they knew me. They were extremely welcoming and friendly. The service was impeccable. The restaurant had affordable and very good food. We will return.

In our 5 days of staying, our room was never cleaned. Housekeeping would leave the used and damp towels in the room. Beds were never made, and no vacuuming was done. Toilet paper was missing and we had to go to the front desk to get to get toilet paper and basic things such as tissues, and water. On top of that, the pool was closed for unknown reasons. When we went and looked at the pool ourselves, it looked perfectly normal. However, we loved the location, view and the staff were respectful and understanding of our concerns.

Thank you for your feedback. We normally do not do daily housekeeping, unless requested by the guest. The pool is closed due to a maintenance issue. I am sorry this wasn't made clear at check in. We will be using your feedback to help make future stays more enjoyable.

I enjoyed a meal at their restaurant. Bed was comfortable but pillows were much too fat. I couldn't use a single one and finally folded one of their lovely white towels under my head.

Free parking, very close to Hoover Dam if visiting. Hotel rooms are a bit dated but very big, comfy beds, quiet but the pool was not open.

My husband and I stayed here in March 2024, because he was bowling in the National tournament and we didn’t want all the glitz and tons of people that we’d get if we stayed in Vegas. Our room was beautiful, with the view of Lake Mead that we had requested. The surrounding desert terrain was also beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food at the Bighorn Cafe and the General Store was awesome. The hotel itself, although old, was very well maintained. While we were there, we learned that visiting dignitaries involved with the building of Hoover Dam used to stay there. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the big city.

No kettle in the room. The heating was so loud that we were woken up by at night when it turned on automatically as it got cold. No bed making or cleaning. We had to ask for new towels, shampoo and conditioner on our last day. Smoking should be prohibited inside the whole building.

While a bit dated we had a great time!! Different casino themes made us feel like we were in the 70’s . Loved that!! BUT, the pool and hot tub were closed and we did not know that as when I booked they were open…. Not cool!!

If you want to do more than gamble and drink, this is a good option. It’s close to Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, kayaking, boating and hiking trails. The dining options in the hotel are limited though the Bighorn Cafe makes a good breakfast. There are more dining options in nearby Boulder City, which is way more laid back than Vegas. The hotel does show its age but the staff is great and more than makes up for the hotel’s wrinkles.
