Room smelled strongly of cannabis. Stained carpets and after booking as a pet friendly hotel we were told no dogs after 1 night. Hotel seems to be run as a kind of emergency accommodation for council services not fit for occupation in my opinion. Entry via keying in a code for street entry door and then room door - no staff on site, but available via telephone/messaging. The beds were comfortable and the fridge was handy. This could be a really good place if they just spent a little time cleaning up and fixing some things. "There was only one aspect to fault, and that was the breakfast. It's a buffet style so the cooked food was in heated containers. Therein lies the problem, the chunks of fried potatoes we not really cooked enough and only warm, the bacon had been sitting there to long and was tough, the knives supplied were not sharp enough to cut it up, it had to be torn apart. "We stayed here for a night for a wedding reception. The shower wasn’t functioning properly and we could not close it completely. However, the worst part was it was full of mould. There was mould around the bath tub as well. The beds were ok. I would not stay here again."
