"Der Aufenthalt war leider zu kurz. ( 1 Tag) Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeber wohnen mit im Gebäude, sind sehr nett und großherzig. Im Pool konnten wir uns sehr gut abkühlen und durften Kirschen von den Bäumen naschen. Was uns sehr gut gefiel. Die Unterkunft bot alles, was wir benötigten. Der Vermieter nahm vor der Reise zu mir Kontakt auf, um uns an die Bettwäsche zu erinnern. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, für den ist diese Unterkunft genau richtig.Jeanette"

"Lovely spot, only a minute walk from the station. Beatiful view of the snowy town, above a bakery and only 5mins from the shops. Room was lovely and roomey for two friends on a serendipitous 1 night adventure. Great heating and fancy tap which gives you hot water, mineral water, sparkling water and mild sparkling water! Also the check in was really cool and simple. Will definitely stay here again"

"Pros: Wir haben eine Woche im Sommer in diesem schönen Ferienhaus verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr hochwertig eingerichtet und bietet viel Komfort. Alle Möbel waren neu. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Die Küche ist Top ausgestattet. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich. Der Rennsteig bietet viele schöne Wanderungen. Bach Erfurt, Weimar und Eisenach sind es ca. 30 min. In Trusetal kann man alles an Lebensmitteln fussläufig einkaufen. Besonders gut ist der Bäcker, nur 50 m vom Haus entfernt."

"Pros: Schon bei der Ankunft verzaubert einen das liebevoll renovierte Äußere des Hauses. Beim Betreten wartet dann eine angenehme Überraschung nach der anderen auf die Gäste. Wir hatten einen sehr wunderbaren Aufenthalt in tollen Zimmern bei einer herzlichen Gastgeberin. Der Kamin funktioniert 1A und die Gastgeberin hat für alles gesorgt, einfach nur großartig! "Pros: Das Haus ist einfach wundervoll, alles was man benötigt ist da. Es sieht 1 zu 1 wie auf den Bildern aus. Das große Grundstück ist mit einem hohen Zaun eingefasst, so dass unser Hund den ganzen Garten erkunden konnte. Auf den Liegestühlen konnten wir den Blick in die Bäume genießen. Jedes Fenster ist mit Fliegengitter ausgestattet. Die Massagesessel waren ein schönes Bonbon bei schlechtem Wetter."

"Checking in was easy and the staff were very helpful and nice. Breakfast was good. The property itself seemed run down. Stairwells were a bit dirty and doors that said “always keep closed” were always open. Also the side entry door we used was never locked, so not sure if that’s a safety issue. Our room was also VERY hot inside. We didn’t know why, the heat was not on. We had to open our room door and the window to get airflow. It was so uncomfortably hot inside (no AC). "

"Hotel Herzog Georg is a real gem hidden in rural Germany. The size of room is larger than a standard European room and we were very happy to have 2 large size doubles for my wife and 15 yr old son. Breakfast was massive European style and quality was superb. Lots of walking opportunities around town with site seeing and hiking just a short drive away. A couple notes, not much English spoken here, or in town at all. People were extremely gracious and we didnt have any issues, but just be aware. Also there are limited hours for the reception and if you think you will even be close to showing up after 7pm local time, reach out and coordinate how to get room access. We did not do this (our fault) and struggled to get ahold of the reception after hours with our US phones. Overall I would def stay here again if I was coming to the area."
