Skyber Cottage is a compact, one-bedroom retreat designed just for two. Set on one level, it provides a warm and cosy base for couples at any time of year. Entry is through a handy enclosed porch, leading into a welcoming living room with mellow pine walls and ceiling. An oak fire surround with an electric ’living’ wood burner stove adds charm, while two wingback chairs offer a relaxing spot to enjoy the Freeview TV or a DVD.

To one side is a dining alcove with a circular pine table and a large window overlooking Skyber’s private garden. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

The cosy bedroom features a comfortable double bed with a pocket spring mattress, feather pillows, and a warm duvet. There’s generous storage in the pine wardrobe and drawers. The modern bathroom includes a large thermostatic shower, countertop basin, and toilet.

Nestled in the peaceful countryside near St Genny’s, Old Newham Farm offers the perfect rural hideaway while keeping you close to North Cornwall’s best attractions. Just a short drive brings you to some of the region’s most striking beaches, Crackington Haven, Widemouth Bay, and Trebarwith Strand. These dog-friendly spots are ideal for surfing, sunbathing, or exploring rock pools with your four-legged companion.

Nearby, the picturesque harbour village of Boscastle invites you to wander its charming streets, browse unique shops, and enjoy riverside walks. Don’t miss the fascinating Museum of Witchcraft and Magic. For walkers, the Southwest Coast Path delivers stunning sea views and access to quiet coves and hidden bays.

History enthusiasts can discover the legendary Tintagel Castle, said to be the birthplace of King Arthur. Families with children will enjoy exciting days out at the Milky Way or Big Sheep adventure parks, both within easy reach.

After your adventures, return to the calm of Old Newham Farm, where open fields, grazing livestock, and birdsong create a relaxing atmosphere. This welcoming, dog-friendly retreat is a perfect base for exploring Cornwall’s coast and countryside.
