Sleeping up to four guests and two dogs, the property offers an ideal base for small families or couples looking for a little extra space.
This former cattle shed has been thoroughly modernised to create a clean, contemporary retreat where guests can truly unwind. At its heart lies an open-plan living area that seamlessly blends kitchen, lounge and dining spaces. French doors, which allow natural light to flood in, open directly onto a large, enclosed garden. Complete with outdoor furniture and a BBQ, it’s the perfect place to relax under the stars on clear Cornish nights. Back inside, two well-appointed bedrooms – one double and one bunk – are located on the ground floor, each offering quality mattresses and space to unpack. A stylish shower room completes the interior, and two private parking spaces are available just outside.
Just 1 mile away, the pretty inland village of Altarnun awaits, with its charming coffee shop, traditional pub and beautiful church – ideal for exploring before or after a walk on the moor. Set off on foot or by bike to discover the ancient Stones of Leskernick Hill (8 miles) or the dramatic formations of Showery Tor (9.5 miles), and soak in the granite-strewn landscapes that define the area. The North Cornwall coast is also within easy reach, with Boscastle (11 miles) and Tintagel (12.5 miles) offering scenic day trips by the sea.
