"A lovely warm cottage, in a great location. A little surprising we couldn’t find an information file, regarding emergency numbers, places of interest and instructions for appliances. Also no welcome pack, not even any milk in the fridge and only one toilet roll for a five day stay!! I least I always go prepared.We couldn’t report any comments as no guests book?"

"Wow! The accommodation is beautifully furnished with high specification on all fixtures and fittings. Set in a lovely rural area with super views, quiet and relaxing. Before we arrived were asked whether a shower chair was needed and what sort. My partner has MS and we have stayed in many supposed ‘ground floor accessible’ holiday let’s only to find in reality they have no idea what accessible means, so having somewhere like this is refreshing to see and enables those with a disability to feel more independent and inclusive. Having said that, for those with no access needs you wouldn’t notice any difference, just that it is beautifully presented. Sarah is an excellent host who met us at the accommodation, always on hand for any queries we might have had and always with a quick response, nothing too much trouble. Wonderful welcome pack for us and one for our dog Freya. Visited the ‘pop up’ farm shop and came away with venison sausages and home made cakes - very yummy! We were here to visit family in the area and would definitely come again. Thank you Sarah and the Team!"

"A fantastic stay for the family. We extended our trip to Rutland for a family wedding with a few days at Cook Cottage - the perfect location, set up, and cosy cottage. Everything you could want including a super pub down the road on your doorstep. What a treat to escape the city, and wake up to rabbits and nature from the bedroom window, which our two little ones loved."

"Had a lovely 2 night stay in this lovely cottage, set in a lovely friendly village with a great pub within walking distance from the cottage.The owner left us a lovely welcome pack for us and our 2 cocker spaniels which was greatly appreciated .Would definitely recommend, and we will definitely come back."
