"Great staff, very clean room, Chef prepared some interesting food which made for lovely social evenings. Recommend everything except a couple noisy coqui frogs."

"This was a perfect place to stay. The host couple are incredibly kind and caring. You can tell they truly put their heart into taking care of the whole property. The room was very clean and spacious. Everything was well prepared — TV, microwave, coffee, towels, extra blankets — all thoughtfully provided. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Occasionally, their rescued little cats would stop by to say hello, which made the stay even more special. This is definitely a place I would come back to again. "

" The property is impressive and breathtaking. Directly behind it is huge cliffs overlooking the ocean. We saw several whales back there. You walk through their deep (acres) backyard and come out to this shaded oasis. Be aware there is no beach access, you are on a cliff with no beach. Below the water rages on a rocky shore. This area is rural and you likely won’t see anyone else back there. This place is extremely secluded, safe and peaceful. There is a gate to the community and another gate to the property. The studio above the garage is cute and comfy. It has all the basics. The bed was extremely comfortable. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. "

"We had an amazing time. This sweet place was perfect for us and Ms. Laurel was beyond amazing. The yard was so much fun for our girls to run around and play - they had a blast! The beds were comfy and the sleeper for the kids was perfect! My only regret was that we didn't have more down time to spend hanging and relaxing. Hope to be back so soon! 3 Mahalo "

"I was very disappointed in the condition of the property. The screens were loose letting the lizards in. I was awake mist if the night because I didn’t want one crawling on me. The oven didn’t work so we had to use the microwave. Since it it didn’t crisp the appetizers they were not good to eat. "

"We enjoyed our stay. The house is spacious. We had 6 adults and 2 kids staying here. It is in a good location. It is near beaches, waterfalls and downtown. The yard is large for kids to run around. The communication with Jolanta was excellent. The only thing is that you must bring anything you might need-spices, pods for coffee, Kleenex, shampoo. There were garbage bags and paper towels though. There were towels for the pool but you must bring your own beach towels. I would recommend this house if you are coming with a family."

"House was very unique and fun with the wrap around second level porch/lanai. House was clean, each of the three rooms had its own full bathroom w/ shower. Beds were large. View was amazing and you can hear the waterfall on the property. Check in/out was easy, good communication with the host. The description did not clearly state that the only stairway between the levels was outdoor therefore requires you to unlock the door by keypad when going from one level to the other. This was not a big issue, but was a bit of a surprise. With kids, it was more difficult to enjoy the second level living area while they were in bed. The drive up to the house may require 4-wheel drive because it is steep and was raining during our stay. Was no issue for the rental Jeep Wrangler, but may be for a FWD car. The fruit stand on the way in was great and the coffee and shave ice place in the small town was amazing (check their hours). And the 'Akaka Falls are a short drive away and worth the visit."
