We loved the location in Wengen and wished we had more time there to explore all the things to do and see on foot. A picturesque traditional Swiss building right in the middle of the village and the cows came right by our door.

There is no WIFI Connection for more than 3 days. Only a small kettle in the basement is provided for sharing with all guests in the lodge. But the location is convenient with shopping, hiking, trains and beautiful mountain views.

This is a quaint, old style hotel that fit our needs well. It was centrally located, but difficult to find its exact location on the internet. The hotel restaurant was excellent as well.

Quiet and beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed the breakfast. The shower and toilet in the room is rather small. It is quite tough to lug our luggages up the stairs up to the room, especially those on 3rd level.

Our family of five really enjoyed our stay. Very friendly staff. They offered a hot pot (for boiling water) and electric adaptor as a courtesy. The rooms aren't that big and not as nice as a hotel room, but you're in the Alps, so get out there and enjoy them!

The room wasn't that big, but it was clean and comfortable for 3 days. The view of the mountains from the room was also wonderful like Switzerland. On the last day, they took care of the big luggage, and I enjoyed the Bengen hike with light luggage and heart. Thank you very much.

The room is clean and tidy. The carpet needs a bit cleaning as it has a weird smell Excellent price and view from the room and the room has a sink with drinkable cold water and soap. There are multiple shared bathrooms and toilets in every floor which were nice spacious and clean. In the basement there is a fridge and a kettle for coffee. You can also get an iron if needed. Excellent central location and price and would recommend.

Would definitely stay here again. A cute and original Swiss chalet along the main strip of the tiny mountain village of Wengen. I recommend a Mountain View balcony room-this made our trip. We spent afternoons after hiking out on the balcony eating Swiss cheese and overlooking the mountains. The beds were comfortable and clean. Bathroom was very very small (probably the smallest hotel bathroom I’ve ever experienced and I’ve traveled Japan) but private in our room and clean. There were WC with a toilet on each floor as well. Staff was English speaking and easily communicative via the hotels app for check in information.

View was great but that was about it. Water is either hot or super hot. No microwave or fridge. No way to cook or preserve food. If you want to rent a kettle for 20$ deposit you can but they make it clear they will keep the deposit if you don’t use it right. The visitors tax is more than is stated on there website. Like $50ish for 3 days extra on top of what you already paid. The train ride up and down the hill is like 10-15$ each day if you want to leave the city. Check in time is super limited and if you don’t make it when it easy for them they will charge you extra. Paywalls are present everywhere. I would just pay extra and stay somewhere with some type of amenities. This hotel wasn’t cheap but felt cheap. Check in was friendly. Flat pillows. Could’ve been worse I guess. You pay for the view and that’s about it.
